Daniel

Ex-Premier footballer and Youth coach

Having played for Charlton as a youth until his early twenties, injuries forced early retirement and they continued to prevent him playing to his ability level even in lower leagues and subsequently concentrated on coaching.

He first came to train with me to shape up for a party but soon noticed that the training was improving his performance on the pitch – increasing speed, recovery time, agility and endurance, enabling him to increase frequency of runs, scoring goals and helping his team win the Power League.

The Pro managers having started to take notice once again!

Vic

At the tender age of 36 Vic was feeling like the old man of his team. As he was in relatively good shape, it must have all been in his mind-as I believe age to be no barrier – the hard part was convincing him!

With the season already started I had to work fast, 4 weeks in the boys noted extra sharpness in defence, less mistakes not being so easily muscled off the ball.

Another 4 weeks into the schedule the door had firmly been closed no-one passing Vic. During this time the change in his body was also noticed the boys weren’t too sure if he was a boxer or a footballer. He’s now the team captain!

Chris

Chris a keen football and rugby player was known to his team mates as “the man that always falls down”, a recent injury was exacerbating the problem, preventing him from playing at his best.

My professional advice was sought, Chris, playing rugby in the “Veterans” league almost had me believing he was fast approaching his sporting career death bed. Age no excuse I tell him, particularly as he is the same age as me.

Instead we look at the pro’s and cons of his sporting ability – Chris is relatively fast, experienced and strong, BUT HE FALLS DOWN. Action- A few weeks of Speed, Agility and Quickness training – Results- a much improved performance!

On the football pitch - he was “jinking” his way from one end of the pitch to the other, quick moves agile turns and goals!!

Chris played an important role in transforming his rugby and football teams to winning ways, and is now being considered for First team rugby. The veteran has gone, the strong player has reappeared – and he no longer falls down!
