"I started of as a small guy, and wasn’t very happy with the state of my body, my confidence wasn’t at the highest either, that was until I joined Gymbox back in May 2007 where I met Freddie.

Freddie gave me a one day training session straight away I knew this man was a good Personal Trainer from what advice he was giving, and by explaining that I had been using the machines and weights incorrectly whilst training at Fitness First.

Training with Freddie is hard work, also enjoyable at the same time. Be warned Freddie takes no prisoners, he makes you do exercises that you think you can’t do. Freddie has trained me on how to use different type of exercises to increase and tone muscles. My first official training started in May 2007, within 2 month I noticed quite a dramatic change, clothes felt tighter, muscles all over my body increased, especially around my chest, arms and shoulders. I also started to naturally eat more, and not junk food!

What’s more colleagues, friends and family have noticed the difference with my body shape, definition and size which have all improved and increased since training with Freddie."

"Doing the job I do I found it incredibly hard to maintain a fitness regime and see results. Training with Freddie completely changed this and quickly gave me noticeable results.

He would change my workout (up or down) depending on the initial cardio session so as to give me the maximum effect for that day. No two workouts were the same which helped keep me interested.

"I have always enjoyed sport.

Up until my late teens I played football at a high standard and enjoyed the competitiveness and physical sides of the game. Other commitments came in to my life ( drinking, late nights, and a bit of work) , which meant that I wasn’t participating in as much sports as I would have liked so I joined a gym.

I quickly got the buzz again for working out so decided that I wanted results quicker and better to what I could do on my own so decided to look for a personal trainer. I spoke to Freddie a few times and booked in my first session that same week.

And I have never looked back!!

I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and his portfolio of other clients that he had trained was impressive to say the least. Following his guided program and being pushed to limits far beyond to what I would do on my own, I quickly began to see changes in my physic and felt good. People that I hadn’t seen for a while would also recognise & comment on my more toned look & a few of them also ended up being trained by Freddie.

By continuing to follow his advice & training methods, I have now developed a toned, muscular body that I am proud of & can also say that Freddie is not just my trainer anymore but also a friend."

"Freddie came to the rescue when, 4 years ago I forgot the laws of gravity and lying on an incline bench, tried to lift a 60kg weight, lost my balance and dislocated both shoulders. After fixing me up we started to address the problem of my shoulders…and everything else.

Over the years I have built up strength in shoulders chest and arms and now can lift about double the weights I was used to lifting. Freddie has made sure that I have worked on core strength rather than just muscles for show and as a result I have the best definition ever. I have also noticed that he does genuinely tailor each programme to the individual and I do not see him training other clients in the same way.

He also encourages me to carry out more aerobic exercise – normally against my will - but with results."
