A massive sports enthusiast; running, cycling, hiking and power lifting to name a few, Deborah’s idea of a relaxing holiday is to go on a 200 mile round UK bike trip.
Deborah fitness was already high when she started with me but a change in emphasis on a more specific training programme increasing her fitness (she is working towards beating her partner’s cycling time and we are getting close!) and becoming leaner and with better tone.
Her new body, with well defined abs, has been the subject of many an admiring comment from the female changing rooms, as well as from the men! |

A size 8 in her teens and mid-twenties, after 4 children (3 being triplets!), the body looking back at her in the mirror wasn’t the same as the picture of herself on the mantelpiece (or indeed the one in her head!)
“I keep bumping into things, I just don’t think I am as big as I am”
With increasing motivation, Jackie’s body is now 8 kgs lighter Jackie bumps into things a lot less and is looking good!

With a staggering 8 previous personal trainers Kate was hesitant in choosing the next one. However, after seeing the quick changes in her pudding-loving husband who had started personal training with me Kate made the plunge.
“I’d like to have my waist back, but you only have 9 weeks before the wedding, Are you a magician?”
Kate worked extremely hard in each of her sessions 3 times a week and saw a 10% body fat reduction and a 6 kg weight loss, and... Hey Presto the waist appeared! |

Always the last to be chosen at any physical activity due to her 2 left feet as well as 2 left hands Lady was determined to fight her demons of old. Asked to slip a punch to the left then to the right, she moved head first straight into a right cross was it really worth the effort to cover up the bruises and black eyes?
The effort paid off for both of us, the change in her body - especially her abs was noted and admired not only by myself, but by many others who were then inspired to train with me.

Princess |

Michelle was a Princess from our very first meeting, elegant, sophisticated….and used to getting what she wanted!!,
“Oh yes, she’ll get the princess treatment alright!” I thought and prepared to change her ways, convinced I would be immune to the Princess charm.
But I couldn’t help but treat her as her persona demanded, “Yes princess, what would you like today… of course I’ll hold your towel, your water, your weights for you”.
Nonetheless this course of action seemed to work, taking her mind off me vigorously getting her into shape, improving the dreaded rounded shoulders and most important for Princess decreasing the size of her butt!
She can now wear her tiara with pride! |

Always an absolute pleasure to see, a greeting with the most wonderful smile and the best set of abs - a testament to the work we have both put in, sculpting a phenomenal body which has stopped some of the lads that are in the gym dead in their tracks.
Determination shows through when you lose 6 stone under your own steam, I didn’t believe it myself until I saw the picture. “Looking real good, Sue!” and that was before I started training her. “There’s been a definite change” she’d have you know, once again into the skinny jeans (looking real real real good Sue!), and with the knee length boots now loose around the calves
Sue can truly be proud of the way that she looks – my massage techniques have improved her posture so she can show off her toned body to its full advantage. A bigger testament to the training; the fact that Sue looks just as pleasurable from behind as she leaves the gym! |

Anna |

A fast approaching birthday encouraged straight – talking Anna to make the start. “I’ll do 10 sessions only to get in shape for my big day. Within weeks Anna was delighted that not only had her boyfriend noticed her new shape, but also a few of her work collagues.
A decrease in inches, on waist, hips, arms and thighs, and one dress size down meant new clothes were in order, a pair of “skinny white trousers” as a present to herself, for all the effort put in. The hard work paid off lots of positive comments and admiring glances, thats just as she had dreamt, she was the centre of attention for all the right reasons, it was her birthday after all.
Birthday cake and wine were added to the celebration. Perhaps one glass and one slice too many as Anna has booked another 10 sessions! |

Sharon |

Looking after her newly born first child was the easy part, being an owner and director of a Nursery, the hard part of the job was caring for 30 children all at once.
With only 2 items (on her bottom half) of her current wardrobe fitting, Sharon was trying to avoid buying a new set of clothes 2/3 sizes above her normal dimensions “I want to be able to fit into my 32 inch waist jeans again”
Having put most of her wardrobe under the stairs, thinking they were never to fit again. 3 weeks into her training, Sharon was happy to see another 4 items now fitted, happier but still not happy as the target was to fit into the main stay of her wardrobe.
12 weeks of training Sharon reached the dizzy heights and achieved comfortably fitting into her under-the-stairs wardrobe. |

Not exactly a shy guy Richard would puff up his chest and tell you exactly how good he was at each activity he attempted, he thrived on competition even when he was the only competitor.
With the ski season fast approaching Richards’ sport orientated programme began. Losing weight and being fitter enabled Richard to ski faster for much longer periods of time. Increased muscle mass has enabled Richard to puff out his chest even more! |

Being at the top end of the TV industry means that Steven is called to dust down the tux and look the part for numerous black tie events.
At well over 6 feet tall, with a naturally bad posture from constantly looking down and a body type notoriously difficult to build muscle on, I had my work cut out. A bit of a tall order? (excuse the pun!)
Now a leaner, more muscular, fitter, slim line Steven has had to visit his tailor to have his Tux fully adjusted! |

I haven’t held the fact that Clarke is a keen Liverpool supporter against him. It just meant his workouts were just a little harder than others particularly when Arsenal lost or indeed when Liverpool won.
It was in his best interest that he was worked a little harder, although it still didn’t seem to dampen his historical recall of Liverpool’s wins or wipe the smirk off his face.
A keen golfer, Clarke is now hitting “monster drives”. I knew all that hard work would benefit him somehow!

Taking part in only his second competitive bout, his first being over 20 years ago, at the tender age of 40 Dony felt the urge to relive the experience. The promoter looked at Dony – “he doesn’t move his head, I hope your man is gonna be alright” was his parting remark.
With 4 weeks to go with fight training running to schedule we kept Dony’s progress under close wraps so as not to give away too much to his opposition.
The promoter revisited to ensure Dony he would be fit to fight and was surprised -Dony’s progress had far exceeded his much younger opponents.

A man of few words, each meeting with James begins with a self-assured smile. He does not need the chat, we both know he is here and determined. We check the understanding is there to carry out the next exercise is there and work begins.
He does though find time to tell me that his tailor is thoroughly impressed with his weight loss and changing shape, as are his children. (Of interest James has fathered triplets – enough said about this mans virility!)
“I will give you a physique like Arnie” I tell him. He returns with a wry smile, but his wife tells me he has started flexing his new muscles in the mirror!

Nigel |

| Not overly concerned with changing his body shape and already fit, Nigel’s motivation was an extreme workout “Just make me sweat or you don’t get paid”
Did he realize I wondered that this was like putting a red rag to a bull? Breaking people physically is something I reserve for the “special few”, and here’s a man asking for it in abundance on a regular basis.
Press Ups... 31, 32, 33, 34... Nigel collapses into a heap onto the floor, “you owe me 6 more – are you ready” I say, thinking surely he’s got to give up “I’m always ready” Nigel grunts from the floor.
Let’s just say I’ve been paid each and every week!

Client lunches and pub dinners were the reasons given for the excess baggage around the mid riff on the man mountain. An excessive 13 executive lunches in 15 working-days at the start of the second week of training was his excuse not to have made as much progress as his effort demanded.
His cycling speeds into work had still improved immensely up from an average speed of 9kph to 13.8kph to his amazement.
A little bit of common sense nutritional advice along with coping mechanisms to deal with his clients twisting his arm and yanking him into the nearest pub, Jason was able to put up a tiny fight and lose a few inches and pounds.

With a call up a distinct possibility at any time, all hands to the deck, being an officer behind a desk made no exception. Given 6 weeks to prepare for the officers military fitness test 40 sit ups, 47 press ups and a 1.5 mile run in under 11 minutes.
Richard scrapped the time for his run but his 3 press ups and 7 sit ups in the allotted time of 2 minutes for each discipline fell far short of the mark.
2 weeks in to our training schedule Richard is told they are to bring the test forward by 2 weeks, by which time he’d improved to doing 12 press ups and 15 sit ups. Come the day he passed with flying colours! |
